Practical Skills Record Book

The purpose of the Practical Skills Record is to provide individuals an ability to record their personal task completion and work experience while acquiring 4th Class ‘firing time’. Future employers may find this skills record to be useful.

The Institute of Power Engineers (IPE) developed this book in consultation with industry, learning institutions, and individuals across Canada.

Note: Use and completion of this manual is NOT a mandatory requirement of the Power Engineering certification regulations in any Canadian jurisdiction; however, its use will assist both the Trainee and the Chief Engineer to accurately validate an individual’s task competencies history. The local jurisdiction will state what experience form must be completed when applying for exams.

The 4th Class Practical Skills Record is available for $82.08 on PanGlobal's website. Please go to PanGlobal to purchase the book. For more information about the Practical Skills Record, please contact Eric Steinson.
